Let's See What LetZi, A Multi-Device Photo Viewer App For iOS, Can Do

Taking photos on an iOS device is great. But showing photos on an iOS device to your friends? Not so great.

LetZi ("let's see") is a new iOS app that lets you easily broadcast your photos to your nearby friends' iOS devices. Using iOS 7's Multi-Peer Connectivity feature, the app can connect up to four viewers, enabling all viewers to see the same photo at the same time.

In LetZi, the main portion of the presenter screen shows the photo currently being broadcast to all invited viewers. As the presenter, you can swipe left or right to move to the next or previous photo, tap and hold to point out a spot, and double-tap to share the current photo via email.
The bottom portion of the presenter screen shows preview thumbnails of upcoming photos. You can drag a thumbnail down to remove a photo, drag a thumbnail up to broadcast a photo immediately, tap and hold a thumbnail to reorder the photos, and double-tap a thumbnail to access more options.
As a viewer, you can see the current photo in full screen in LetZi on your device. You can also pinch to zoom, tap to reveal the navigation element, and tap and hold to point out a spot.
While there may be a bit of a lag between showing a photo on the presenter screen and showing it on a viewer's device, LetZi does exactly what it's designed to do, and does it quite well. It also lends itself well to showing photos to colleagues or clients, as with photo-based presentations or slideshow pitches.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.1 or later, LetZi is available now in the App Store for free.
The free app is limited to 10 photos per session for the presenter. To present as many photos as you like in a session, you have to unlock the unlimited photo presenter via a one-time $1.99 in-app purchase.
