Target, Walmart Offering New Deals On iPhone And iPad Purchases
March 7, 2014
In the market for a new iOS device? This weekend, Target and Walmart are offering huge savings on the iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPad Air, and iPad mini with Retina display.
Walmart
As CNN Money first reported, Walmart is now offering the 16GB iPhone 5s for just $119 with a new two-year contract from either AT&T or Verizon. The entry-level iPhone 5c is now just $29 at the retailer.
These are permament price cuts and "will likely fuel speculation that Apple is planning a new iPhone release for this spring, rather than its usual fall launch."
Target
At Target, guests can get at least $150 toward the purchase of a new iPad when they trade-in a working iPad 2 or newer version. Guests will also receive a free $30 Target gift card with the purchase of an iPad mini with Retina display or any iPad Air. These deals begin Sunday, March 9 and run through Saturday, March 15.
Continuing until March 22, Target is offering an extra bonus of $50 on the purchase of an iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c when coupled with a trade-in of an older cellphone.
