Up To Speed: Official Speedtest.net App For iOS Finally Goes Universal

Speedtest.net Mobile Speed Test, the official iOS app of Ookla's free broadband connection analysis website, has finally gone universal.
The app's universal update has been long overdue and long awaited, considering that it was released as an app optimized for iPhone and iPod touch only back in January 2009.
Now, thanks to its latest update, Speedtest.net for iOS has been optimized for iPad and iPad mini as well, with a functional landscape mode to boot.
The new universal version of the Speedtest.net app also includes an improved speedometer that adjusts dynamically for high-speed connections, an improved server selection interface, and some bug fixes and performance optimizations.
