Just in time for the Easter holiday on Sunday, The Simpsons: Tapped Out has received an update.
Coming as no surprise, version 4.8.0 of the popular game puts its own spin on the day. According to the release notes:
Springfield has been invaded by ravenous, bloodthirsty…bunnies? Nobody panic – just put down your whacking stick, grab a bunny stunner, and if we’re lucky we’ll get out alive.Players can also collect and trade eggs found throughout Springfield for prize-filled Easter boxes. On the character side, gamers can plan a cat coup with the Crazy Cat Lady and help make Catholicism cool with Father Sean. New buildings include the party-filled Johnny Fiesta’s and the cool clothing shop Banana Dictatorship. Finally, you’ll help Lisa on a quest to figure out why bunnies are laying eggs. A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, The Simpsons: Tapped Out can be downloaded now in the App Store for free. As usual, with this type of title, there are a number of in-app purchase opportunities to help advance faster through the game.
