While external battery packs are pretty much an essential item for on-the-go iOS device owners, a new device from JunoPower adds an interesting twist.
The JUMPR battery, along with being able to charge power hungry iOS devices like an iPhone and iPad, is also made to jumpstart a completely dead car battery in minutes.
Usually, to recharge your battery without using another vehicle, it takes carrying around a huge battery pack that isn’t exactly easy to throw in your trunk. But with the included proprietary jumper cables, the JUMPR provides up to 12 Volts of power at a peak of 300 amps.
That should be able to charge most 4- and 6-cylinder engines easily.
Weighing in at just 7 ounces, the JUMPR even includes a built-in flashlight to help light the way.
While the JUMPR will retail for $89.99 when it is released, you can preorder the battery now for $20 less directly from Juno Power. It will begin to ship next week on Thursday, May 1.
Along with a standard one-year warranty, JunoPower also guarantees 500 recharging sessions before the battery begins to lose efficiency.
