By recording your life, you’ll be able to learn how everything you do and everyone you meet influences your health and fitness. You’ll want to start off by recording a few activities every day like steps, calories, and sleep. As you continue to record, OptimizeMe will learn from your data and automatically propose new activities. The more activities you record, the better insight you’ll end up with. You’re also able to set goals and create custom activities to record. The app includes the ability to create reminders and backup data through Dropbox. Konvert ($0.99 → Free, 1.2 MB): An easy to use unit converter that’s also easy on the eyes.

You’re presented with an icon-like grid of unit categories. Just tap on the category you want to use and then choose your two units of conversion. You’re able to browse through the units with a swipe or just tap to see a list. Hold the backspace button to clear all values, and hold on the value fields to copy or paste. You’re able to create and manage multiple accounts at the same time. When adding income or an expense to an account, you can define the amount, category, date added, and attach a note. You’re able to set up recurring transactions as well, and view your transaction history in chart form. The app also includes transaction filters, four themes to choose from, passcode protection, and the ability to import and export data. All Budget is available for free for a limited time. Remote Mouse ($1.99 → Free, 4.8 MB): Transform your iPhone into a trackpad for your computer with Remote Mouse.

You must first download the free companion software from the developer’s website and install it on your Mac or PC. Launch Remote Mouse on your iPhone and tap the start button to instantly connect. You can then use it as you would a normal trackpad! Remote Mouse also includes a full keyboard, an application launcher and switcher, password protection, and loads of customization options. SnapStill will hunt down all of the videos in your library and present them in a scrollable thumbnail list. You can also import videos via iTunes File Sharing or record new ones from within the app. You can then quickly jump to a point in the video by sliding your finger across the timeline at the bottom. Slide your finger across the video itself to move through it frame-by-frame. Once you have found the shot you want, capture and share it via Facebook, Twitter, Messages, AirDrop, or email. How to Tie Knots 3D ($0.99 → Free, 53.7 MB): Learn how to tie more than 40 essential knots with this reference app.

You’re able to browse through the knots by category or search for something specific. Each knot includes a difficulty rating, a description, and step-by-step instructions accompanied by 3-D animations. You’re able to share knots via Facebook or Twitter, and leave a comment and a rating. The app also includes the ability to favorite knots and adjust the animation speed. Polyphonic’s interface is dead simple, allowing even non-musicians to create fantastic musical loops. Just tap a colored square to light it up and then hit play. You’ll see the progress bar at the bottom of the screen start to move, and when it hits the end it will start over again. Each square is a sound of its own, and each different color is a group of sounds, so just tap more squares to add complexity to your loop. The app includes two sound sets to choose from, and a loop grid of 36 squares. Polyphonic - Make Music is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 125 ratings.
