April 5, 2014

Create a story from your favorite photos with today’s AppBump featured app, PhotoMotion. This is the first time PhotoMotion has ever been offered for free, so make sure to take advantage of this opportunity while you can!

We also have an app that allows you to type with a swipe, and a shooter where you must battle to the death in a pixelated world.

All app prices are subject to change at any time and without notice regardless of stated free duration. Price changes are solely under the control of the developers.

iPhone:

Path Input Pro ($1.99 → Free, 7.5 MB): Type with a swipe with Path Input Pro.

The app allows you to record your thoughts faster than you could with a regular keyboard. Just draw the path of the word you want to record. If you get a little off track, don’t worry, Path Input Pro will figure out what it is you’re trying to say. You can even record words by simply drawing their prefixes. When you’re message is complete, you’re able to copy your content with a tap and bring it into any other app. Path Input Pro also includes six color themes, a wide variety of fonts, and 10 font sizes. Path Input Pro is available for free for a limited time. It has a 3.5-star rating with a total of 111 ratings.

PhotoMotion ($0.99 → Free, 15.9 MB): Create a story from your photos with this cinematic slideshow creator.

Start off by selecting photos from your library that feel like they belong together. Then tap on each one in your list to adjust their start and end positions, durations, and title positions. To complete your project, choose a video format, transition type, title style, fade style, and add some music. Your video creations can be shared via Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Flickr, Messages, or YouTube. The app also includes 10 built-in photo filters, the ability to reorder photos, and a random start and end position option with face detection. PhotoMotion is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 23 ratings.

Fitly ($0.99 → Free, 1.2 MB): Track each and every step you take with this beautifully simple fitness app.

Fitly utilizes Apple’s new M7 chip to track motion without draining your battery, so it will only work with iPhone 5s. You don’t need to do anything but start walking. Fitly takes care of the rest. As you approach your 10,000 daily step goal, you’ll earn various achievements through Game Center that will help keep you motivated. You’re also able to share your progress via Messages, Twitter, Facebook, or AirDrop. Fitly is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 194 ratings.

Universal:

Videoshop - Video Editor ($3.99 → Free, 32.1 MB): A super easy to use video editor.

You’re able to import multiple videos from your library or record new ones from within the app. You’re then able to reorder the videos in your timeline, cut out unwanted moments, slow down or speed up time, add voice overs and sound effects, add animated titles, insert photos, and add background music. After your new creation has been compiled, you’ll have the chance to apply a filter and theme before sharing it via Vine, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, or email. Videoshop - Video Editor is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 3721 ratings.

Type Art - Cool Beautiful Fonts and Symbols for Texts, Instagram, Kik, Twitter, and Facebook! ($0.99 → Free, 8.3 MB): Type Art allows you to really get your message across with some crazy and cool fonts.

You’re able to browse through the 40 different fonts with a swipe. Tap on the one you want to use and start crafting your message. Pixel Gun 3D ($0.99 → Free, 263.0 MB): Battle to the death in a pixelated world in Pixel Gun 3D.

You’re able to craft your own character using the built-in skin maker and then show it off on the battlefield. You can go face-to-face with zombies in campaign mode, battle those same zombies with friends in a cooperative survival mode, or take on your friends in online death matches. Up to eight players are able to battle it out online or locally, and you’re able to fight with words via built-in chat. The game includes three difficulty settings, loads of character customization options, tons of weapons to choose from, and leaderboards via Game Center. Pixel Gun 3D is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 39391 ratings.

Flower Cells ($0.99 → Free, 19.1 MB): Relax with a game of Flower Cells.

This colorful puzzle game requires you to group five or more of the same colored flowers together. You’re able to do so by drawing their path on the screen. Flowers can not travel through other flowers, so plan ahead. Keep in mind that after each turn new flowers will be added to the grid unless you create a grouping of five or more, making it more and more difficult to maneuver flowers. The game includes two modes, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center. Flower Cells is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 13 ratings.
