Adobe Photoshop Touch For The iPhone Adds A Quick Selection Tool

May 20, 2014
The high-quality iPhone photo editing app, Adobe Photoshop Touch, has just been updated with a number of new features. Most importantly, version 1.2 features a Quick Selection tool. Much like the full version of Photoshop, it allows photo editors to quickly and automatically detect the edges of shapes within an image. Quick Select is an invaluable Photoshop tool, and I can’t wait to try it out on my iPhone. Also, users should enjoy the addition of more brush types for finer corrections and painting. Here is the list of other changes:
Fixed two crashers: when syncing and when storage is low Implemented auto-recovery of unsaved documents Added ability to use iOS fonts with the Type tool Keep the original EXIF metadata when editing a JPEG Lots of other bugs fixes
Designed for the iPhone/iPod touch, Adobe Photoshop Touch can be downloaded now on the App Store for $4.99. The app originally launched in February 2013. A separate iPad/iPad mini app will set you back $9.99. It was last updated back in November.
