May 22, 2014

Scan and save all of the documents that are important to you with today’s AppBump featured app, Scanbot. This is the first time Scanbot has ever been offered for free, so make sure to take advantage of this opportunity while you can!

We also have a music app that will help you rock your next party, and a cooperative multiplayer game for iPad.

All app prices are subject to change at any time and without notice regardless of stated free duration. Price changes are solely under the control of the developers.

iPhone:

EasyBiz - Mileage Tracker & Expense Log ($2.99 → Free, 2.6 MB): This business app takes the pain out of tracking your mileage.

You’re able to define your vehicle’s miles per gallon and the cost of gas for your trip. Then just hit the big green “Start” button and head out on your journey. The app will track your distance traveled and provide you with a breakdown of how many gallons of gas were consumed, your miles traveled, and your total cost. You’re then able to export the data as a CSV file or send it off to Google Drive. The app also includes the ability to manually enter data, metric support, and graphs and analytical breakdowns of your trips. EasyBiz - Mileage Tracker & Expense Log is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 91 ratings.

Siege Hero ($0.99 → Free, 44.5 MB): Siege Hero offers a new perspective on the physics-based puzzle game genre.

Instead of chucking stones from the sides of the screen, you’ll be taking out your foes via a first-person perspective. Just tap to throw stones and watch entire structures crumble. You can tap and hold to zoom in as well. The game includes 400 levels with star ratings for each, the ability to unlock additional levels by gathering loot, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center. Siege Hero is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 96166 ratings.

Scanbot | PDF Scanner, Multipage, Cloud Upload of Scans ($1.99 → Free, 34.7 MB): Scan and save all of the documents that are important to you with Scanbot.

You’re able to scan everything from receipts and invoices to business cards and whiteboards. Just point your camera at whatever it is you want to scan and Scanbot will discover the edges and automatically capture it. You’re able to scan multiple pages at a time and arrange them however you like. You’re then able to apply filters, rotate, crop, and even annotate your scans with handwritten text or notes. Scans can be uploaded automatically to your favorite cloud storage service, or you can share them manually via email, AirDrop, or Messages. Scanbot | PDF Scanner, Multipage, Cloud Upload of Scans is available for free today only (05/22). It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 86 ratings.

djay 2 for iPhone ($1.99 → Free, 29.9 MB): Transform your iPhone or iPod touch into a portable DJ system with this music app.

You’re able to import any two non-DRM protected songs from your library or music from Spotify. You can then manipulate the two digital turntables by sliding your fingers over them. If you lack the necessary DJ skills, you can also just enable the Automix mode and let djay 2 do the work for you. The app also includes automatic beat and tempo matching, audio FX, looping, live recording, equalizer controls, AirPlay support, and iCloud support. djay 2 for iPhone is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 45 ratings.

Thinglist ($1.99 → Free, 6.4 MB): Thinglist is your “want to-do” list.

It allows you to remember things in your personal life that you want to do, try, see, hear, buy, or travel to. Tap on the appropriate category for the thing you want to remember, and then title it and attach some notes. All of your things are placed in a scrollable list with their category icons next to them for easy reference. You’re also able to filter your list by category. The things in your list can be shared via email, AirDrop, Twitter, or Facebook. Thinglist is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 152 ratings.

Universal:

iTab ($0.99 → Free, 14.4 MB): A highly customizable productivity app that allows you to organize any and all of the data in your life.

It allows you to create custom index cards that can be jam-packed with endless amounts of text, audio, images, links, ratings, and basically anything else you can think of. Each field can be reordered and edited at any time via an intuitive gesture system. The app also includes the ability to create reports from your data, iCloud support, AirPrint support, and search. iTab is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 83 ratings.

iPad:

Fingle ($1.99 → Free, 37.8 MB): Get your fingers working together in this cooperative multiplayer game.

Grab a friend and prepare for some finger bending action. Each player needs to drag up to five buttons of the same color onto their matching targets. The targets won’t just sit there and wait for you, however. You need to keep moving with them for a brief period of time in order to move on to the next level. The game includes 10 level packs and more than 130 levels to work your way through. Make sure to turn off Multitasking Gestures within Settings before playing Fingle, otherwise you’ll end up closing the game by accident! Fingle is available for free today only (05/22). It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 101 ratings.
