Can’t wait for the actual iPhone 6 to start purchasing accessories? Walmart has got you covered.
As first spotted by 9to5Mac, Walmart.com is selling a supposed iPhone 6 case right now. For just $4.95, you can buy a Minifrost Slim Rubber Grip Case in clear, pink, purple, or black.
According to the listing, the case fits the AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, and unlocked versions of the iPhone 6.
Not surprisingly, the photos show the case with an iPhone 5. There’s no way to actually know whether this case will fit the next-generation iPhone, so obviously buyer beware.
And since the new iPhone isn’t expected to be unveiled until September, Walmart probably won’t be interested in taking a returned case this fall.
But hey, at least it’s less than $5.
The latest rumors say the new iPhone will come in two different screen sizes – a 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch model. Instead of Gorilla Glass, the screens will be covered with sapphire glass provided by GT Advanced Technologies, based in Arizona.
Earlier this week, news broke that the handset may finally add near field communication technology as part of Apple’s iWallet solution for mobile payments.
And in this recent video, you can also take a look at what iOS looks like on a larger, 4.7-inch screen.
