Apple Updates Executive Profiles Page To Include New SVP And CFO Luca Maestri

June 3, 2014
Just a few days after officially succeeding Peter Oppenheimer as senior vice president and Chief Financial Officer of Apple, Luca Maestri has been added to the Apple Leadership webpage. As noted by 9to5Mac, Maestri's headshot and bio are now included in Apple's Executive Profiles, the latter of which mentions his career highlights before joining Apple:
Luca has over 25 years of experience building and leading finance teams in global companies with significant operating scale and complexity. Prior to joining Apple, Luca was CFO at Xerox and previously at Nokia Siemens Networks. He began his career with General Motors and spent 20 years in finance and operating roles in the Americas, Asia Pacific and Europe. While at GM, Luca was part of the team that established GM’s regional Asia Pacific operations, including manufacturing investments in China and Thailand. He later became CFO for all of GM’s operations in Europe, which spanned over 45 countries with annual net revenue of approximately $40 billion.
Maestri joined Apple last year as vice president of Finance and corporate controller. Maestri’s appointment as SVP and CFO of Apple was first announced by the company last March. It was made effective last May 29. Oppenheimer will not be retiring until the end of September, though, and will be handing over to Maestri in the intervening time. Last month, former Burberry CEO Angela Ahrendts was added to the Apple Leadership roster as Apple’s new SVP of Retail and Online Stores.
