Matching Target's Promotion, Best Buy Is Now Offering The First-Gen iPad mini From $199

On Tuesday, Target began offering the first-generation iPad mini for $199 as part of the company’s Father’s Day sale. Best Buy has now matched the offer.
For a limited time, Best Buy is offering the 16GB Wi-Fi only iPad mini for $100 off the normal price of $299. This is a savings of 33 percent. Meanwhile, the 16GB Wi-Fi + Cellular iPad mini is available for $299, or a savings of $130. It normally retails for $429. Both deals are available online and at select retail locations.

Like at Target, Best Buy’s promotion likely runs through Saturday, June 14 only. Apple launched the original iPad mini in 2012 starting at $329. The price was lowered one year later to $299 when the iPad mini with Retina display was introduced.
