SportsManias 2.0 Features New Design, Push Notifications And More
June 22, 2014
The highly rated sports app SportsManias has just been updated to version 2.0, over a year and a half since its launch.
SportsManias is an app that offers sports news and custom team feeds covering the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, MLS, NCAA, and soccer events including the Premier League and Series A through RSS feeds and Twitter streams.
As such, it presents all of your favorite teams' sources in one place, with personalized coverage, including news, tweets, rumors, videos, scores, and stats. It even boasts a faster Bleacher Report with ESPN quality, including top news and insights from sportswriters and pro athletes.
With its 2.0 update, SportsManias has undergone a makeover, one that I must say is quite stylish and more than suited to the look and feel of iOS 7.
SportsManias' new design comes with a new logo, speed improvements, a five-tool home page, and a head-to-head page that features live tweets from both teams' beat writers along with a complete box score.
SportsManias 2.0 also adds support for push notifications for game starts, period ends, game completions, and trade and free agency rumors.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.0 or later, SportsManias 2.0 is available now on the App Store for free.
