This Newly Updated Live Streaming App Lets You Hang With Your Friends And Fans
Hang w/ invites you to hang with your friends, fans, followers, and even celebrities with its latest update, which may very well be its biggest update yet.
Released in March last year, the popular live streaming app has just been updated to version 3.0 with a bunch of significant enhancements.
Most noticeably, Hang w/ 3.0 boasts a new iOS 7-optimized design that promises to be “faster, smoother, safer, and more intuitive.”
Speaking of safer, the updated app features the following broadcast privacy settings, allowing you to choose exactly who can see and chat on your broadcasts:
- Public broadcast & chat: everybody can tune in and comment
- Public broadcast & Private chat: everyone’s welcome, but you decide who chats
- Private broadcast & chat: only your personal VIP list can tune in and chat
In broadcaster chat, you, as the broadcaster, can now also tap any name in the chat log to follow, block, or grant Private Access to the corresponding user. The same controls apply for viewers in viewer chat. Note that you can now also keep track of new followers and new Private Access grants in the new Inbox feature.
Hang w/ 3.0 also lets you, as a viewer, tap the center of a live broadcast to enter full-screen mode. Moreover, it lets you pause, play, and scrub to any point in an archived broadcast.
The new and improved app also features a new Discover mosaic showcasing the best users, broadcasts, and archives on the Hang w/ platform.
Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 7.0 or later, Hang w/ 3.0 is available now on the App Store for free.
