Popular shopping assistant app Slice goes 5.0 with new design and new features
Slice, the popular app that help you with your shopping, shipping, and saving, has just been updated to version 5.0 with a new streamlined design that comes with a number of new features.
With Slice 5.0, you get more control over the management of your purchases and shipments. You can also quickly access key options, such as marking as delivered and deleting, with the new quick actions for each card. Moreover, it lets you pin a purchase to the top so that you can easily access and keep track of it.
Slice 5.0 also features the following interface tweaks:
- Love seeing your product images? So do we. We've made the images bigger and better.
- But wait, you shop a lot online and don't like to scroll? We've added the ability to expand and collapse your view so you can choose how you want to see your stuff.
- But there's more! We've added an all new “Slice & Dice” section to help you get a better picture of what you're buying and where your money is going. Try it. We're pretty sure you'll think it's fun.
- And last, but not least, an all new “Discover” section to let you browse recent product recalls and recent price drops for all you deal hunters out there.
Slice 5.0 is available now on the App Store for free. It's compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.0 or later.
Released for iPhone and iPod touch in November 2011, Slice was updated to version 4.0 with universal support for iPad and iPad mini in December last year.
