TripAdvisor 9.0 Features Offline Support, Restaurant Reservation And More
July 3, 2014
TripAdvisor, the official universal iOS app of the popular travel website of the same name, has just checked in to its biggest update yet.
The update, which brings the app to version 9.0, introduces several significant features to TripAdvisor's iPhone edition. Most significant among these is the introduction of offline support.
Just in time for the summer travel season, TripAdvisor 9.0 lets you download maps, reviews, and your saves for more than 300 cities worldwide, so that you can take them with you on your travels around the world. It also lets you view your current location on maps via GPS even without a data plan.
TripAdvisor 9.0 also features the ability to reserve tables at restaurants and other improvements:
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later, TripAdvisor 9.0 is available now on the App Store for free. TripAdvisor was previously updated to version 8.0 in October last year with a new design and new features for both iPhone and iPad. In the interim, the app was updated a number of times with additional improvements. TripAdvisor is included in AppAdvice’s Hotel Deal Finder Apps AppGuide and Plan A Trip With Your iPad AppList.
