Photo sharing and discovery app EyeEm gets a big makeover

If you’re looking for something other than the mindless selfies and other casual photos on Instagram, take a look at the newly updated EyeEm. Boasting more than 10 million users, EyeEm does a great job of both photo sharing and discovery. There are more than 20 free filters to add flair to images. And an active community shares albums on a number of interesting topics (known as Missions) like street photography, fashion, architecture, and more. You can even submit shots to the Missions and win cash prizes. Here’s the complete list of changes:

A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, EyeEm can be downloaded now on the App Store for free. Before version 4.2, the last major update arrived in late 2013. Version 4.1 added universal compatibility with the iPad and iPad mini and other enhancements.
