Over the years, we’ve become impressed with the America-made leather bags and sleeves from Waterfield Designs. The San Francisco, California-based company recently introduced its newest laptop bag, the VertiGo 2.0. To celebrate this arrival, Waterfield Designs has teamed with AppAdvice for one awesome giveaway.
An ideal business and traveling companion, the VertiGo 2.0 features one main compartment to hold a laptop sleeve, tablet, or travel gear, plus two interior open-topped pockets.
A hidden security magnet holds a front pocket flap snug to the bag. Here, a self-locking zippered pocket keeps items like keys, wallet, and tickets secure yet quickly accessible. The bag ships with a shoulder strap, which includes a removable leather slider with grippy underside.
To keep laptops safe within the VertiGo 2.0 and other bags, WaterField offers the laptop SleeveCase in over 100 sizes. Another option—the Outback Sleeve—is available in four custom sizes for Apple laptops.
The VertiGo 2.0 is available in various sizes.
The smallest model measures 8.5 inches by 11 inches by 3.5 inches, and is ideally suited for carrying tablets such as the iPad Air or iPad mini with Retina display. The mid-sized model measures 10.5 inches by 13 inches by 3.8 inches and is designed for 11-inch or 13-inch laptops, including the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro with Retina display.
The largest VertiGo 2.0 model measures 10.8 inches by 16 inches by 3.8 inches. It works perfectly with 15-inch laptops such as the MacBook Pro with Retina display.
Prices for the VertiGo 2.0 begin at $129. Buyers can choose from a large selection of colors and materials including: all waxed canvas, waxed canvas with chocolate leather, waxed canvas with black leather, all black ballistic nylon, black ballistic nylon with chocolate leather, and black ballistic nylon with black leather.
According to Waterfield Designs’ Gary Waterfield:
I love how comfortable the VertiGo is and that it keeps all my gear so easily accessible. The vertical design is unobtrusive and the adjustable shoulder strap is long enough to wear across my chest, messenger-style, or off one shoulder. The new handles are convenient for a quick-grab and go, and I can hide them in the front and back pockets when not in use.
