AppAdvice goes hands-on with the newly announced Apple Watch

September 9, 2014

As you probably know, AppAdvice was on-site live for the huge Apple media event today. And our own Tyler Tschida was able to get some hands-on and wrist-on impressions of the newest Apple device.

The watch will be available in two different sizes and three unique versions – the Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport, and Apple Watch Edition. Prices will begin at $349, and it will hit stores in early 2015.

You’ll need an iPhone 5s/5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 6, or iPhone 6 Plus to use the watch.

Apple is also offering a number of buckles with each watch edition.

The high-end Apple Watch edition features an 18-karat gold case and a sapphire crystal screen cover.

The Apple Watch Sport is protected by Ion-X glass.

The Apple Watch edition features a case with highly polished stainless steel or space black stainless steel.
