Apple TV channel for live streaming Apple's 'iPhone 6' event now available
With just a few hours to go before the big event, Apple has brought back its dedicated Apple Events channel on Apple TV to offer a live stream of its special presentation today.
As noted by 9to5Mac and shown in the image above (via Sonny Dickson), the Apple Events channel has reappeared on Apple TV ahead of the company’s highly anticipated media event.
The channel is automatically restored on second- and third-generation Apple TVs running software version 6.2 or later. But in case it hasn’t appeared on your devices, you may perform a reboot by selecting the restart option in the Apple TV’s general settings.
Today’s big Apple event is expected to primarily include the unveiling of the “iPhone 6″ and the “iWatch.”
The event — as well as its live stream, of course — is scheduled to start today at 10 a.m. PDT. As announced by Apple last week, it will also be streamed on Apple’s website, in addition to the Apple Events channel on Apple TV.
AppAdvice will also be live-blogging the event and covering all the breaking news. So stay tuned.
