Sega's Crazy Taxi: City Rush gains new district, new taxis and more in first major update
Sega has issued the first major update to Crazy Taxi: City Rush, the Crazy Taxi sequel that issues crazy driver’s licenses for adrenaline-fueled score attack racing.
The update most notably introduces a new Hills district that lets you “blast your way through the film lot, career over the golf course or climb up to the observatory.”
This new district comes with five new taxis, a new mentor named Cinnamon, and a new set of Bay City citizens crazy enough to be your passengers.

The new version of Crazy Taxi: City Rush also features 13 new customizations, including Paws for Thought, Revolverating Orbis, and It’s a Wrap, and a couple of new achievements, namely, It’s a Mystery and King of the Hill.
The game’s new update also revamps the Taxi Rank missions to award diamonds in addition to medals, and delivers bug fixes and performance improvements.
Crazy Taxi: City Rush was released late last July. In our original review, the game was deemed “a decent time-waster when you have a few moments to spare.”
