Storehouse visual storytelling app gains support for iOS 8 and goes universal for iPhone
The Apple Design Award-winning visual storytelling app Storehouse has just received a significant update following the official launch of iOS 8.
Unsurprisingly, the latest update to Storehouse adds support for the latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system. In particular, the app now works with photo extensions in iOS 8, making it easier to create and share stories with photos and videos.
In addition to support for iOS 8, the update brings universal support. As a result, Storehouse is now optimized for iPhone and iPod touch as well as iPad and iPad mini, for which the app was initially released last January.

Storehouse now also lets you republish stories to your followers. Republished stories as well as original stories from people you follow are featured in the home tab. By the way, you can now also find and follow people you know on Storehouse via Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
The new universal version of Storehouse also features a new explore tab, which lets you view stories by category or search stories with hashtags. Indeed, hashtags are now supported in Storehouse to make stories more discoverable on the explore tab.
The new Storehouse update also tweaks the notifications tab to let you know when other users have commented on stories you’ve published or when you have new followers.
