The Apple Watch features a MagSafe-like charging system

There’s no need for a Lightning cable to charge the Apple Watch. The new device uses a MagSafe-like inductive charging cable to juice up the battery.
Apple didn’t discuss battery life, but it has been reported that it will last around a day.
