Here’s a fun new source of iPad leaks – Apple itself. First spotted by 9to5Mac, the iOS 8.1 user guide that has just appeared in iBooks has outed the unannounced iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3.
Both iPad models will feature a Touch ID sensor and look very similar to the current generation of tablets. The iPad Air 2 will also feature a Burst Mode like the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
And according to the site, since the models are in the iOS 8.1 user guide, that update will more than likely arrive tomorrow as well. That update will bring the Apple Pay mobile payment system.
The tablets will officially be unveiled during a special media event at 10 a.m. PDT tomorrow. We’ll covering the event live. So stick with us for all of the latest news.
