Apple's OS X Yosemite will be available to download today for free

The next major release of OS X, also known as Yosemite, will be available to download today for free. It will be available to anyone running OS X 10.9 through the Mac App Store.
During today’s special media event, Apple’s Craig Federighi demoed a number of features from he new operating system, including Continuity and Handoff.
He even called comedian Stephen Colbert, Apple’s “secrecy commander” using his Continuity on his Mac with Yosemite.
