Next Issue makes it easier to organize your favorite magazines
The popular Next Issue app is out with a new update. Version 4.0.3 adds “Categories” and “Favorites” to the mix, making it easier for users to organize their magazines.
New features include:
Your Personalized Library is now called Favorites:
- Favorites can be Auto Downloaded.
- Get notified when new Favorites are available by email or push notification.
Browse by Category:
- Tap the upper-left menu to browse Home & Gardening, News & Politics, etc.
- See a new title you love? Tap the Star to add it to Favorites.
We should expect more updates in the coming months.
In June, Next Issue CEO Morgan Guenther told AppAdvice that his team was working on a number of app improvements. These include background downloads, more engagement and discovery tools, and separate logins. Content for children is also coming soon.
Next Issue currently offers more than 140 magazines across multiple platforms, including iOS, Android/Kindle Fire, and Windows 8. Currently the $9.99 Unlimited Basic plan includes 135 monthly and bi-weekly titles. The $14.99 Unlimited Premium plan offers 145 titles, including weeklies.
Both plans offer access to back issues, and new customers can try the service free for 30 days by visiting the Next Issue website. The service is currently available in the United States and Canada.
