One Chinese carrier is offering iPhone 6 Plus owners pocket enlargements

October 21, 2014

Here’s a story that may leave you scratching your head. In one of the strangest publicity stunts in recent memory, Chinese carrier Unicom is offering iPhone 6 Plus customers pocket enlargements. Yes, pocket enlargements, according to Ubergizmo.

According to the report:

It is offering in-house pocket enlargement to customers who pick up Apple’s largest iPhone ever. China Unicom has actually hired a group of tailors to provide this service at many of its stores across the country.

This isn’t the only carrier offering something like this. In the Netherlands, KPN is providing a similar pocket enlargement service.

Maybe Apple should consider its own custom tailoring service (the iPocket?) to help offset declining iPad sales. What do you think?
