Stale, sad 'Gluteus Maximus' is Samsung's latest attempt at bringing down Apple

October 3, 2014

When was the last time you saw a Samsung ad that didn’t criticize the competition? I don’t remember either.

“Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Endures the Gluteus Maximus” is Samsung’s latest attempt at scoring some cheap points against Apple. The target this time is the iPhone 6 Plus and “Bendgate.”

Take a look:

Normally, I find Samsung ads witty even when they are off the mark. There is little to laugh about here.

As Consumer Reports has proven, an iPhone 6 Plus is very difficult to bend, despite what some have said. Attempting to continue with this overblown narrative is a new low even for Samsung.

Besides, who wants to see someone’s butt sitting on a mobile phone?
