Today’s apps gone free: Fallin Love, LifeTicker, Pocket Scanner and more
iPhone:
We really like LifeTicker Pro because of the variety of ways it can be used. You’re able to create an unlimited number of tickers for big events like weddings, birthdays, conferences, and vacations. Tickers can be categorized, and can include a photo and a notification. You’re also able to share tickers via email, Facebook, Twitter, or AirDrop.

Pocket Scanner’s powerful image processor will ensure your scans always turn out great. Just point your iDevice’s camera at the document you want to scan and Pocket Scanner will detect the edges and remove all shadows. You can manually adjust the crop if need be, apply a filter, and rotate and flip your scan. Scans can be saved as PDF files, shared, or uploaded to your favorite cloud storage services. Pocket Scanner also now supports Touch ID, allowing you to unlock your private files with your fingerprint.
Pocket Scanner – Scan Images to Encrypted Multi-Page PDFs is available for free today only (10/19). It has a 4-star rating with a total of 1088 ratings.
Universal:
Fallin Love is just oozing with character. You get to guide Fall on his quest for love by tapping and holding where you want him to go. But that’s not all you get to control! Rotate your iDevice to manipulate gravity and help him collect hearts and new disguises before reaching each exit. Just watch out for falling objects, because not only can Fall’s heart be crushed, so can he! The game includes a total of 70 colorful levels.
Fallin Love – The Game of Love is available for free today only (10/19). It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 5 ratings.
ElectroTrains is a blast because things start to ramp up pretty quickly. At first you’ll only have a few trains on the tracks that you need to guide to their matching stations. You’re able to do so by tapping on the tracks to create different connections. When the passengers have been delivered trains will turn white, allowing you to guide them right back off the screen. Things ramp up pretty quickly after that. The game includes two modes, six maps, and glowing vector graphics.
ElectroTrains is available for free today only (10/19). It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 538 ratings.
This game is fun for all ages thanks to its ridiculously adorable characters and forgiving hint system. The idea is to drag and drop different Peablins onto the grid in order to get them to join hands. All hands must be held in order to move on to the next level. The game includes 140 levels, and an unlimited amount of hints so you’ll never be left hanging.
Joining Hands 2 is available for free today only (10/19). It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 15 ratings.
iPad:
Cubic Block is loaded with colorful cubed creatures to create. Your blueprint will appear in the top left corner of the screen. You have a limited amount of time to cut away at the collection of cubes by tapping on each one in order to recreate the blueprint. Move quickly in order to unlock all 80 levels.
Cubic Block is available for free today only (10/19). It has a 3.5-star rating with a total of 32 ratings.
