Venom, Spider-Man's symbiotic supervillain, set to star in new pinball table from Zen Studios
Venom is getting his very own pinball table from Zen Studios.
The Marvel Pinball developer has just announced that the Marvel supervillain and Spider-Man archenemy is getting the Zen Pinball treatment soon.
Zen Studios summarizes the nightmarish Marvel Comics character’s backstory thus:
As Eddie Brock’s journalism career spiraled downward, he always blamed Spider-Man for his own failure. A symbiotic organism from an alien world sensed his rage, and having itself been rejected by Spidey before, shared his hatred of the web-head. Thus, the Symbiote chose Brock as its next host, and together they are – Venom.
The upcoming Venom pinball table features Brock as possessed by the alien symbiote and has him fighting not only Spider-Man but also his bloodthirsty progeny, Carnage. Zen Studios also hints that Venom and Spider-Man may even team up in the game to take down Carnage, which is something fans can look forward to.
Venom is set to infect Zen Pinball 2 for Mac beginning on Dec. 10, and Zen Pinball and Marvell Pinball for iOS starting on Dec. 11.
Zen Pinball 2 for Mac and Zen Pinball for iOS are free to download on the Mac App Store and the App Store, respectively. Marvel Pinball is available on the App Store for $0.99.
Venom’s pinball table is going to be available via in-app purchase for $2.99 on Mac and $1.99 on iOS.
