Deadline looms for holiday purchases made at Apple

Are you still planning on making a holiday purchase through Apple’s online store? You still have time.

Orders placed by Tuesday, Dec. 23 at 10 a.m. PST receive free next-day shipping. Want it sooner? Most online orders can be picked up at an Apple retail store within an hour of making the purchase. These deadlines are good on in-stock items only.

The fine print:

Free next day shipping is available on all in-stock items at the Apple Online Store. Check your cart to confirm which items are in stock and see checkout for delivery dates. Free next-day shipping is not available on customized Mac, engraved products, Apple Store gift cards, iTunes gift cards, Print Products and for certain order types, including orders paid for with financing or by bank transfer.

In-stock items will deliver in one business days from when they leave the warehouse.

Delivery for in-stock items is as follows: orders placed on Friday 12/19 before 5pm EST will be delivered on Monday 12/22; orders placed on Monday 12/22 before 5pm EST, will be delivered on Tuesday 12/23; orders placed on Tuesday 12/23 before 10am PST, will be delivered on Wednesday 12/24.

Pickup is available during regular store business hours. Custom-configured Mac computers, items with personal engraving or signature gift wrapping, and other items that are not stocked at Apple Retail Stores will be shipped at no charge to the store you choose for pickup at a later date.
