After you’ve imported a photo from your library you’ll see its dimensions at the top of the screen and rulers placed around it. Your favorites can be marked for quick access later on. If you want more complex sounds you can create your own combinations with varying audio levels. The app also includes a sleep timer.

Kids Video Streaming provides hours of child-friendly entertainment. You’ll find videos dealing with reading and writing, mammals, food and cooking, math, art history, fire safety, how to be a good friend, how to deal with bullying, and so much more. The best part is, the app is free of outside links and in-app purchases, so you can hand your iDevice off and allow your child to explore.
Kids Video Streaming by Playrific – Safe, Fun and Educational Videos for Children is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 20 ratings.
Lane Splitter will put your reflexes to the test. You’re able to control your motorcycle with ultra smooth tilt controls. Tap and hold on the screen to perform a wheelie, and test your luck by weaving through traffic to earn bonus points. Above all else, avoid crashing into anything including the guard rail and the police in order to survive. The game includes 10 unlockable characters, all kinds of power-ups, and global leaderboards.

iPacking can handle any trip you throw at it. It includes a database of pre-built templates so you don’t have to start from scratch. Templates can be customized with new items to fit your current trip. Once your list is created, start the nifty “Pack Now” feature by hitting the play button and you’ll see your items appear one by one on the screen. Swipe down to record an item as packed and up to skip an item and bring it next time. The app also includes filters, the ability to reuse packing lists, and the ability to share packing lists.

If you are a developer who would like to get your app included in our “Apps Gone Free” daily lists, here’s our basic set of rules:
- It must have at least a three-star average rating at the time it goes free.
- The app must not have been free numerous times (3+) over the last six months.
- The free version of your app must not include ads.
