Today’s apps gone free: Real Piano, Hours, Hearts and more
iPhone:
Audiko is all about sharing. You’re able to select any non-DRM song from your library and import it into the app. You can then adjust the duration, select a precise section, and choose to have the ringtone fade in and out. When the project is completed, you’re able to save the tone to the in-app app library and share it with the rest of the Audiko community. Of course, this means you can also browse and download ringtones others have created.
Audiko Ringtones for iPhone PRO is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 806 ratings.
Hours helps you visualize your time. You’re able to create as many projects as necessary and label them with different colors. When it’s time to track your time spent, simply tap on the clock icon to start and stop the timer. A visual timeline appears across the top of the screen for each project, allowing you to identify and correct mistakes. The best part is, you’re able to control your timers via Hours’ Today widget or via your Apple Watch. Hours also includes the ability to attach notes, set rounding rules, set smart reminders, and create and share reports.
Hours Time Tracking is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 282 ratings.
Universal:
Sit back and relax, because you’re about to take on the zen experience that is Hearts. The game dives right in and asks you to start collecting hearts without any instructions whatsoever. The reason is that the gameplay is so simple; there’s no need for a tutorial. All you have to do is tap the open circles to move the black dot and collect the hearts. The black dot can only travel through each circle once, however, so in order to collect all of the hearts in each level you’ll have to think ahead.
Hearts – A Puzzle Game is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 43 ratings.
Real Piano is fully customizable, allowing you to play however you wish. The keys can be arranged in three different ways, and you can access the full set by pinching, pulling, and sliding your fingers across the bar at the top of the screen. You’re able to record and share your masterpieces via Facebook, SoundCloud, email, or iTunes File Sharing. The app also includes expression control, customizable key labels, tuning, and transposing.
Real Piano™ is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 608 ratings.
Just like the original, your job is to keep the faceless invaders from reaching your Tesla tower. This time, however, bigger and more powerful weapons are at your disposal including six auxiliary turrets. The main tower still is the most powerful, allowing you to strike down your opponents by tapping and holding your finger on them to send off an electric charge. By completing various goals and ensuring no invader reaches your tower, you’ll be rewarded with cash. The cash can be spent on upgrades and special attacks. The game includes a total of 80 levels, and a survival mode.
Tesla Wars – II is available for free for a limited time. It has a 3.5-star rating with a total of 27 ratings.
