Popular third-party keyboard Fleksy updated with new imoji stickers and a contextual hashtag feature
One of the best third-party keyboard options for iOS 8 users, Flesky, has just received a nice update to version 5.7.
The update’s biggest addition is yet another way to express yourself. Along with emojis and GIFs, Flesky now offers an integrated imoji sticker keyboard.
Originally launched last summer, more than 3 million stickers have been created by imojiapp users. You can create pretty much any sticker with the keyboard – even an image of yourself.
And with a new content discovery feature, users will see GIF and sticker suggestions while typing. Simply tap on the suggestion to see the content.
Fleksy is a universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. Instead of the usual $0.99 price tag, it can be downloaded for free until next Wednesday, June 3 to celebrate the new update.
Back in early May, I pitted Fleksy against rival keyboard SwiftKey in an AppAdvice App Smackdown. SwiftKey, which also was updated last week, pulled out the victory by a slim margin. But Fleksy is also another great alternative to Apple’s stock keyboard. Definitely download it now while it’s free and give it a try.
