Take a swim this summer with Mophie’s new waterproof iPhone 6 battery case, the Juice Pack H2PRO
Just in time for any outdoor summer adventure, Mophie has just unveiled its first-ever waterproof battery pack.
As the name suggests, the Juice Pack H2PRO for the iPhone 6 will protect the handset from pretty much any hazard, including drops, dirt, sand, water, and more.
The IP-68 rated case can protect the handset for up to 30 minutes in 1.2 meters of water.
And the case also provides full access to all of the handset’s buttons and switches, including the Touch ID sensor.
With a 2,750 mAH battery, users can completely recharge a dead iPhone once. Special technology allows the iPhone 6 to charge up before the backup battery.
Only available in black, you can preorder the Juice Pack H2PRO now from Mophie’s site for $129.95. Shipping is estimated to begin sometime in late May.
Mophie has done a great job with its Juice Pack line for the iPhone, and the H2PRO looks really great. I’m looking forward to trying it out when it arrives.
A waterproof battery case for the iPhone isn’t totally new territory for accessory makers, though. Lifeproof announce a similar solution all the way back at CES in January. But the Fre Power, which should retail for $99.99, is still listed as just “coming soon” on the company’s site.
