The need now list: Broken Age's end, 'Fifty Shades of Grey' and a great Wedding Escape

May 1, 2015

Our list this week features the final chapter of one of the App Store’s most popular games, Mr. Grey’s arrival on iTunes, and much more.

Broken Age, Universal game

The final act in the Broken Age ($9.99) saga is finally here. The game brings together two whimsical stories in a family-friendly, puzzle adventure game. On the one side is a boy living on a spaceship who tries to break free from the motherly computer. On the other side is a girl about to be sacrificed by her village to a horrible monster. Players can switch between the stories easily to help both teenagers on their quests.

Wedding Escape, Universal game

Matrimonial life not your thing? Then you’re going to love Wedding Escape (free with in-app purchases). This innovative puzzle game finds your character running from his bride and not looking back.

“Fifty Shades of Grey,” film

Yes, Mr. Grey will see you now. In your living room. For $14.99. Need more Grey? The first trailer for “Fifty Shades Darker” is posted above.

Surgeon Simulator, Universal game

First introduced in March 2014, Surgeon Simulator ($4.99) is the game of Operation on steroids. The game was hailed as AppAdvice’s Game of the Week shortly after its release.

Typorama, Universal app

This new app turns your text and photos into beautiful typographic designs.

From iTunes:

Typorama saves you tons of work by automatically creating complex text layouts with different fonts and typefaces. By just a few taps, you instantly get your text beautifully laid out on a background of your choice. This would take hours if you were using Photoshop or a similar photo editor. (The text designs are not templates and they are generated randomly as you choose different styles)

Typorama is priced at $1.99 for a limited time.
