Fantastic navigation app ETA arrives on the Apple Watch
Just in time for summer vacation season, one of my favorite navigation apps – ETA – has received a big update.
The app gives users quick and easy access to travel times and driving directions. Most importantly, version 2.0 brings an Apple Watch app. On your watch, you can do things like see estimated arrival times and more. That’s a great way to keep track of your travels while driving.
Here’s an interactive preview of the watch app from our sister site WatchAware.
Developer Eastwood hasn’t stopped there. With a new traffic display, you can view current traffic conditions and quickly view travel recommendations. Thanks to multiple route support, you can also browse numerous options available to get to your final destination. You can also plan your route with three new third-party map apps – Navigon, MotionX, and CityMapper.
And along with support for the Welsh language, the update is also fully optimized for the higher-resolution screens of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
Designed for the iPhone/iPod touch, ETA can be downloaded now on the App Store for $1.99.
