Twelve South unveils Forte, a beautiful charging stand for the Apple Watch

October 14, 2015

Twelve South’s line of accessories for the Apple Watch is growing. The company has just unveiled another beautiful charging stand for the wearable device.

Named Forte, the stand is compatible with all bands and versions of the Apple Watch. Made with chrome, a genuine leather base pad protects the watch bands and can even provide a place for your iPhone.

You’ll need to provide your own charging cable. But the disc is inserted into the top of the stand and the cable is placed down the back of the arm to conceal it. A ring secures the disc and shields the body of the Apple Watch from touching the stand itself.

Here’s a quick video about the Forte. Click here if you can’t see it.

As a nice touch, the stand can hold your watch in either landscape or portrait orientation, so it is compatible with the Nightstand mode in WatchOS 2.0.

The Forte retails for $59.99. It’s available to order now directly from Twelve South’s site, or you can pick one up exclusively at your local Apple Store.

And keep a look out as we’ll be reviewing the Forte soon and seeing how it compares to other similar options.

Earlier this year, the company introduced the HiRise Stand for the watch. It can be purchased now for $49.99 and is available in sliver or black.
