Yahoo Mail, the iOS email client for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, is out with its 4.0 update, bringing a huge range of smart improvements to the popular Mail app-alternative for Apple’s mobile OS.
Among the list of changes made to Yahoo Mail as of version 4.0 is an all-new, enhanced user interface (UI). As you can see in the below images, Yahoo Mail 4.0 has been re-imagined by its development team, and the overall appearance is more minimalistic, more elegant, and a whole lot prettier than before. We think the updated application looks great.
See for yourself:
However, that’s not all. Because Yahoo Mail now also supports multiple mailboxes, allowing iOS device users to switch between several Yahoo Mail, Outlook, or AOL email accounts from inside the same application.
Adding attachments into your outgoing email has been revamped as of 4.0, too: you can now attach multiple images or videos all at once into a single email from inside the same UI. Sharing your photos or movies via email is now far easier as a result.
Finally, Yahoo Mail now offers users a lightning-fast search feature, allowing folks to search across all of their messages, contacts, files, and photos at super-fast speeds.
Here’s a complete list of the new features added in version 4.0:
- All-New Look: Experience the re-imagined Yahoo Mail app for iPhone and iPad
- Multiple Mailbox Support: Add AOL, Outlook or multiple Yahoo mailboxes and easily switch between them.
- Effortless Attachments: Attach multiple photos and videos, all at once.
- Lightning-fast Search: Search across all of your messages, contacts, files and photos, faster than ever.
