Apple publishes a Christmas ad featuring Stevie Wonder and Andra Day
It’s Christmastime (well, almost), and in celebration of the season Apple has posted a new, heartwarming ad to its YouTube channel starring none other than Stevie Wonder and Andra Day.
The new ad (via MacStories) is embedded below, and as you can see, there’s a small emphasis in the video on Apple’s accessibility features in OS X. Quite early on in the ad, Stevie Wonder sets off GarageBand on the Mac, and VoiceOver feedback can be heard in the background. From here, Stevie Wonder and Andra Day go on to sing a great cover of Stevie’s own hit from all the way back in 1967, “Someday at Christmas.” From here, Christmas scenes then follow.

Apple signs off the ad with a small line reading, “Love, Apple.” It’s a nice close on what’s been a year of impressive Apple-made advertisements. In the video’s description, Apple simply notes:
From our family to yours, Andra Day and Stevie Wonder perform his 1967 holiday classic, “Someday At Christmas”.
I like that this Christmas ad isn’t driving a product or attempting a hard sale. Make sure you check out the embedded video (above), or for a look back at Apple’s 2015 ads, click this link to visit Cupertino’s YouTube channel.
