Apple releases iOS 9.2 beta 3 to registered developers and public testers

Apple's Software
November 10, 2015

Apple’s development of iOS 9.2 is quickly progressing. For the third straight week, Apple has released a beta version of the software. The latest, iOS 9.2 beta 3, can be downloaded now by registered developers and members of the public beta testing program.

We’ll definitely let you know if there are any major changes. The release notes only mention a number of bug fixes.

Unlike iOS 9.1, which included a number of forward-facing changes like new emoji and support for the iPad Pro and Apple TV, iOS 9.2 seems to be more focused on behind-the-scenes improvements.

The only change that has been noticed, so far, is the way the Safari Control Viewer works within some apps.

Apple has also seeded the second beta version of tvOS 9.1 for the new Apple TV. One of the major changes in that software, as we told you about earlier this week, is limited Siri support for Apple Music.
