Merchbar, the popular iOS app for discovering new merchandise from your favorite bands, is now better than ever thanks to its recently published 2.0 release.
The update, which iOS device owners can download now, is available on the App Store free of charge. Among the changes made to Merchbar are, primarily, support for new artists — some 4,000 new bands have been added into the application, to be precise. These include mammoths like AC/DC, One Direction, Apple-favorite The Weeknd, and many, many more, according to the folks behind the app.
Apple Music support
Merchbar 2.0 also ships with Apple Music support, allowing users to use the Cupertino-developed music streaming service in order to discover and find great gear from the artists you listen to and love the most. In the app’s release notes, Merchbar’s developer continues:
Don’t sleep on the best new gear or the hottest sales. We’re now notification enabled so we can make your pocket jingle, your wrist jangle or your purse shake when the new new hits our shelves. Oh you like to save a little dough? We’ll be sure to hit you up when the deals get real. Because, CREAM.
And as if all that wasn’t enough, there’s also a brand new look for the app, too. There are visual upgrades aplenty in this release, which should please users of the application.
All in all, the changes made in Merchbar indeed make the app better than ever, and well worth the download. Merchbar easily offers iOS device owners one of the most convenient ways of picking up new merchanise from their favorite bands, and its price promise means you aren’t going to pay over the odds for your branded (or, should we say, “banded”) gear, either.
You can download the app free of charge now; as mentioned, it’s optimized for the iPhone/iPod touch only.
