If you can think it, you can create it in Scribblenauts Unlimited

If you can think it, you can create it. That’s the philosophy at the core of the popular Scribblenauts series of emergent puzzle video games. And it’s something that you have to keep in mind as you play the latest title from the series to be released on iOS, Scribblenauts Unlimited.

From Remix to Unlimited

Since October 2011, Scribblenauts Remix has been enabling players to use their imagination in solving puzzles by conjuring various characters and objects just by typing adjectives and nouns onto iOS devices’ screens. (It has recently been updated with a seasonally appropriate holiday playground.)

And now, Scribblenauts Unlimited, which was originally released in November 2012 for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, has arrived on iOS to offer an immersive emergent puzzle gaming experience both to players of Scribblernauts Remix who have been waiting to move on to bigger things and to new players who are looking to be introduced to the world of Scribblenauts.

Scribblenauts Unlimited explore everything

Let your imagination run wild

Of course, Scribblenauts Unlimited also has you solving puzzles by summoning whatever objects you can think of. But this time, you’re free to venture in an open world with free-roaming puzzle levels, each of which can serve as your playground, and with touch-optimized controls.

You can come up with your very own creation and even combine several attributes into one object. Want a giant fancy rainbow dancing polar bear? You got it. You can also save your previously summoned objects and creations for future use.

Scribblenauts Unlimited also features new characters exclusive to iOS, including Hipster Lincoln, Robo-Einstein, Corporate Werewolf, Queen of the Skies, and more.

Scribblenauts Unlimited create anything

A family affair

Scribblenauts Unlimited, of course, also stars Maxwell (who else?) as the main player character. But the game is notable for featuring the backstory about Maxwell’s parents, his 41 siblings (yup, they’re that many, including his twin sister Lily), and how he got his magical object-summoning notepad.

Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 8.0 or later, Scribblenauts Unlimited is available now on the App Store for $4.99, with in-app purchases for additional content.
