Become a parody superstar with the help of MadLipz
If you’ve been looking for an easy way to create and publish your own voice-over parody of a film or song clip, a new arrival on the App Store just might fit the bill. MadLipz lets you dub your voice over a short video clip of up to 15 seconds, possibly turning you into a parody superstar.
Choose your clip
The MadLipz library is pretty vast, providing you with plenty of choices of video clips to parody. Choose a movie clip, like a scene from Pulp Fiction, and turn off the character voices to make yourself the director, writer, and producer. Or, pick a song and turn off the singer, so you can do some karaoke. The choices are almost endless.
Record your tracks
With MadLipz, you turn off whichever voice tracks you want, and then insert your own voice dubbed over the scenes or song. You get to play writer here, so use your imagination to come up with something truly hilarious. What’s really cool is when a track has two actors, and you can turn off just one or both of them. MadLipz lets you record up to three tracks on each video to create a “Lip.”
Share your masterpiece
Once you’re done, you can share what you’ve created. The app supports native sharing to Facebook’s Messenger, Messages, WhatsApp, and Instagram, but you can also use the Share extensions for other options. If you really want to become a MadLipz superstar, you can share your parody with their own community.
