Today’s Apps Gone Free: Resumes by Nobody, Splittr, Taskful and More
iPhone:
Splittr stops the bickering. Start off by creating a new activity to track. Then select a currency and add names of those who are participating. You can create custom names or just import them from your contacts. You’re then able to add expenses to your new activity as you go and the app will tell you who is next to pay and who needs to pay what to whom. When the activity is complete, Splittr will generate a report that can be emailed to the participants. The app also includes the ability to track multiple activities at once, mix currencies, and split expenses unevenly.

Universal:
Taskful helps you focus on what needs to be done today by automatically breaking up long tasks. Create tasks with a number attached to them in order to track your progress. Taskful will divide the amount by the number days that you will be working on the task and show your progress. Simply tap on a task to complete it. You’re also able to categorize tasks by swiping across their backgrounds. The app includes dark and light modes, the ability to sort tasks, daily reminders, and the ability to repeat tasks.

Safari Tales is not only fun, it’s educational! It allows you to see an epic safari world through the eyes of five baby animals. As you wander around, you’ll be able to play games, explore caves, float down rivers, discover thousands of facts, and even have a wise talking meerkat named Darwin answer all of your questions.

PhotoWidget is further proof there’s an app for everything. It provides you with the ability to place a photo or animated GIF in the Today view in Notification Center. You’re able to select as many photos as you want from your library, and you can have them randomly appear in the view or you can choose one to remain there.

Resumes by Nobody’s design helps you focus on the content of your resume. Your chosen template can quickly be edited on the left side of the screen and you’re able to see a formatted live preview on the right. Sections can be added, deleted, and reordered at will. The app’s assisted writing provides subtle prompts that will help you fill in your content. Resumes by Nobody includes 25 templates, customizable colors and text, and the ability to export your cover letter, resume, and references as a PDF.

If you are a developer who would like to get your app included in our “Apps Gone Free” daily lists, here’s our basic set of rules:
- It must have at least a three-star average rating at the time it goes free.
- The app must not have been free numerous times (3+) over the last six months.
- The free version of your app must not include ads.
