Today’s Apps Gone Free: Hearts Tournament, Ginkgo Dino, Spite & Malice and More
Universal:
Unleash your inner demon with the fiendishly fun Spite & Malice. Your goal is to be the first person to play all of the cards from your own pile by placing them on the middle piles in numerical order. Don’t worry about the suits of the cards because in Spite & Malice they don’t mean a thing. Just remember that the best way to beat your opponent is to block them from ever playing their cards. The game includes a single player mode, and online real-time and turn-based multiplayer.
Spite & Malice HD is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 3710 ratings.
Ginkgo Dino is part game, part encyclopedia. You’re able to guide a cute character named Gingko by tapping where you want him to go. As you explore, you’ll come across twinkling stars that can be tapped on to activate short stories and animations. You’ll find 10 characters in total to meet. The encyclopedia portion of Ginkgo Dino includes interactive content created and edited by scientists. The text is fully narrated, so you can choose to follow along instead if you wish.

Each of the 100 puzzles require you to drag and drop pieces from the lower half of the screen into the top in order to completely fill in the shape. Pieces can not be flipped or rotated, so you’ll have your work cut out for you. The game also includes an unlimited number of hints and undos, creating a rather relaxing environment.
