Funnel provides an overview of what’s happening all around the world. You’re able to choose from seven news sources including BBC, NPR, VOA, and CBC. Funnel will then provide you with hourly audio news summaries that can be played in the background. The app is also able to send notifications when new content is available.

Sweet Factory Prime ($1.99 → Free, 50.6 MB): Make the tastiest treats around in Sweet Factory. Fans of fast-paced action.
The Sweet Factory is open for business! As a worker on the sweet treat line, you’ll have to move quickly and stay focused in order to keep the factory humming along. Ingredients are piped down through three tubes. You’ll have to tap on the left and right sides of the screen in order to match two ingredients with each other. One wrong move and it’s game over. The game includes 14 types of unlockable treats.

Universal:Aureus Prime ($1.99 → Free, 97.2 MB): Match elements to produce gold in Aureus. Anyone who wants to work on their memorization skills.
Take a good look at the board while it is lit up because the lights will go out! You must then match elements to create electrical currents that will briefly illuminate the board, disintegrate the elements, and turn them into gold. While the board is briefly illuminated from creating a match, you will have another chance at seeing where elements are located and how they’re aligned. If you wind up not getting a good enough look, you can use a hint. The game includes three modes, loads of ways to upgrade your gold producing machine, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

Typatone is a delight to use. Every letter typed corresponds to a musical note, resulting in a harmonious spin on your written work. Tap the note icon to cycle through the six different moods, which will change the speed, filter, and color of each letter’s musical note. Text can also be copied and pasted from another app or service. Your final creations can be shared, music and all, with just a tap.

Stardash ($1.99 → Free, 57.9 MB): Run and jump through pixelated environments in Stardash. Fans of platform and retro games.
Stardash pays homage to the 90s with its crisp gameplay and retro graphics. Guide your character through challenging levels by running and jumping across platforms while avoiding enemies and reach the exit before the clock hits zero. One mistake and you’ll have to start all over. The game includes five worlds, 50 levels, and MFi controller support.

Warhammer: Doomwheel provides fast-paced, over-the-top action. As a humble warlock of clan Skryre, your only goal in life is to rise through the ranks of the ratmen, and the only way to do it is to build the ultimate Doomwheel. You’re able to pilot your Doomwheel through the caverns of the Skaven underworld with only a tap. Mow down your enemies, dodge obstacles, and collect the warpstone to upgrade your Doomwheel. The game features a variety of regions to conquer, and online leaderboards.
