The fifth iteration of iOS, is almost here, but some people just can't wait for it. At WWDC 2011, Apple gave developers access to the newest iOS betas. However, some developers took this as an opportunity to get some extra pocket change by selling slots to people for early access.
Apple has been doing incredibly well distributing the iPhone all over the world through carrier contracts. Recent revelations seem to point out a new avenue. According to RBC Capital Markets analyst Mike Abramsky, Apple might consider a low-end model of its iPhone if it provides an “innovative, category killer experience." In other words, if it rips up the competition, they're in.
Remember when Apple announced the iPhone 4 and a new era of app development at WWDC 2010? The featured app was dubbed Project Sword, now called Infinity Blade, and for a limited time, you can snatch it up for half price!
Comex, the creator of JailbreakMe was just given a Pwnie Award for making it extremely simple to unlock iDevices. Apple's most wanted created the biggest exploit when he gave users the ability to literally "slide to unlock."
