Meetr

Patrick Denney

Find out how much money your company is wasting on endless meetings with Meetr. The app is intended for those who have always wondered if sitting in conference rooms all day is worth their time.

FREE ($1.99) For a limited time FREE ($1.99) For a limited time
Why we picked this?

Meetr’s approach to finding out if the cost of meetings is worth the benefit is lighthearted, which is why we enjoy it so much. It has a 1981-inspired user interface that doesn’t take itself too seriously. It’s easy enough to add all members of your meeting, and you can watch the cost balloon in real-time. There’s also an option to share your results anonymously via Twitter.

If you hate meetings, you’re going to get a kick out of Meetr. After each meeting, you’re going to have the desire to share the results with the management team and prove your point. Trust us.

If you’re looking for a serious time tracker, this isn’t it. It offers just enough features to get your point across, but nothing more. It lacks major customization features found in most other apps.

The exam covers everything from general science to mechanical comprehension. It also includes a test-taking strategy guide, ensuring you’re prepared for the real thing when the time comes.

If you want to ace your ASVAB exam, this is the app for you.

If you’re still trying to decide if joining the military is right for you, this app won’t help you one bit. Its sole purpose is to help you prepare for the ASVAB exam.

Birthday Board Premium – Anniversary calendar, events, reminder and countdown.

Superdik B.V.

Birthday Board offers a unique way to remember your friends’ and family members’ birthdays. It’s perfect for busy people with too much on their calendar.

$1.99 $1.99
Why we picked this?

We’re recommending Birthday Board today because of its unique way of presenting and recalling birthdays. You’re able to import birthdays from Facebook or the Contacts app. Swipe right and left across the newly imported birthdays to browse through them month by month. Tap on a birthday badge to view detailed information, and tap and hold to set a new badge style and highlight it. The app also includes birthday countdowns, zodiac signs, and the ability to share birthdays.

If you’re looking for a dedicated way to remember everyone’s birthdays, this highly customizable app is for you. There’s even a greeting card option built-in, which allows you to send a birthday wish at the very last moment.

Having a separate app dedicated entirely to birthdays isn’t ideal for everyone. If you have enough room on your main calendar, you may just want to stick with it.

Chromasphere

Chromasphere

Chromasphere

redmotion games

Get the ball rolling in this 3-D puzzle game. It’s for fans of labyrinth-style games.

$1.99 $1.99
Why we picked this?

We really like Chromasphere because of its variation in gameplay. Like most labyrinth-style games, your job is to guide the ball from one end of the level to the other. Doing so, however, can be a puzzling experience since you must track down crystals to change the color of your sphere before you can pass through specific doors. Chromasphere includes 24 challenging levels, ghost replaces, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

If you enjoy tilt-based puzzle games, this should be right up your alley. As with most tilt-based games, Chromasphere can be a tad difficult to get the hang of, but once you master guiding your ball around with tilts and controlling the camera with swipes, you’ll fall in love.

If you’re not fond of tilt-based games, Chromasphere isn’t for you. There isn’t a secondary control option; you only can tilt to control the ball.
