Tennis in the Face

Tennis in the Face

10tons Ltd

Help Pete Pagassi save the city from an evil energy drink corporation using only a racket and tennis balls in this physics-based puzzle game.

It’s for anyone who enjoys Angry Birds-style gameplay.

$2.99 $2.99
Why we picked this?

Tennis in the Face cranks the absurdity level up to 11. Aim your shot by sliding your finger around the screen and release to smash your tennis balls through the air. The idea is to try to bounce the balls off of walls to reach your targets while using as few as possible. Your targets are robots, policeman, and evil clowns, and they all feature some pretty hilarious rag doll physics. You’re also able to set off chain reactions by aiming at heavy objects, exploding crates, and other wacky items.

If you enjoy bad puns and hilarity in your puzzle games, check out Tennis in the Face. The game is ridiculously over the top and a ton of fun.

If you’ve grown tired of the Angry Birds-style physics-based puzzle mechanic, there’s little here to change your mind. The amusing storyline and crazy physics might entice you, but the gameplay doesn’t veer far from the norm.

Polarity Game

Craig Littler

A first-person puzzling adventure.

It’s for anyone who enjoyed Portal.

$2.99 $2.99
Why we picked this?

Polarity has you running, jumping, and inverting your way into the heart of a system to steal data for your clients. The game starts out a little slow in order to introduce you to the basic concepts of inverting polarity and data collection. But once you get going, you’ll see the resemblance to Portal. The first-person view makes the puzzles all the more fun and complex.

If you enjoy clever puzzles, you’ll get a lot out of Polarity. Some of the puzzles will leave you scratching your head, while others will require you dexterity and quick reflexes.

If you’re looking for a puzzle game to sink hours into, you’ll have to look elsewhere. Polarity is a bit light on content.
